November, 7, 2014 -- You may be surprised to hear 3rd through 8th grade students would consider voting for year-round school, but at Grey Nun Academy, some students were persuaded to do just that. Pennsylvania State Representative Steve Santarsiero (D-Bucks) led the 3rd through 8th grade students there in a mock legislature to better understand what he and other legislators do, and had the students consider a bill for year-round schooling.

Grey Nun Academy fills hundreds of rooms in Africa with books
Posted: Wednesday, September 24, 2014 2:30 pm Cicero said, “A room without books is like a body without a soul.” If this is true, Grey Nun Academy has been instrumental in filling the rooms – and souls -- in Africa with books. Grey Nun Academy’s Venth family spearheaded a book drive last spring for the organization Books For Africa to help end the book famine in Africa, and the Grey Nun community responded with 1400 books.
